To be considered for this role you will need:
Proven experience in the automotive industry including management of all pre-delivery tasks.
Open Manual Driver Licence
Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Ability to multi- task.
Able to deal with high pressure situations.
Strong communication skills and confident dealing with management, staff, customers and contractors.
Excellent attention to detail.
The motivation and drive to maximize every claim opportunity.
A positive can-do attitude.
While not required - 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role would be highly valued.
Main responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
You will have overall responsibility to ensure all sold and retail cars are prepared to a high standard in a timely manner.
Plan and organise the successful and timely duties for pre delivery and retail cars.
Ensure quality standards are always met, if not exceeded.
Hold regular ‘tool box talks’ with the pre-delivery team and ensure they are aware of the the company's standards.
Train new hires on company policies and procedures, as well as job-specific skills.
Liaise with the delivery coordinator and staff to advise on delivery times and ensure deadlines are met and advise of delays in a timely manner.
Schedule and assign employees to tasks to optimize workflow and ensure the timely completion of projects..
Meet daily retail car targets and prepare daily reporting for Upper Management.
Stocktaking of detailing and aftermarket products.
